| Finder |
The Finder allows to find files by their name or part of filenames.
On the screen below you can see Finder window:
You have to select initial folder for search. Type that folder in the Search in drop down or you can browse for folder. To operate (copy, delete, rename, replace) with found files you must send them into the Basket.
Finder settings are described in the table below:
| Field | Description |
| Search conditions | This group allows to setup basic search conditions and start search. |
| File mask | In this field, you can enter the search mask for the files you want to find. Examples: *html finds all files which ends with html for example about.html *bak;*old finds all files with these extensions read* finds files which must contain 'read' in front of the filename for example read_me.txt; read_this.html |
| Search in | Here you can enter folder or drive for search. |
| Browse | Opens the Browse window, which allows to select path for search. |
| Start find | This button starts the search. It can be interrupted by clicking the Abort button. |
| Clear results | Click this button clear the "Search results" pane. |
| Advanced search options | This group allows to setup detailed search options. |
| Date options | Allows to filter out files by the last modified file date. |
| File size | Allows to filter out files by a file size. |
| Attributes | Allows to filter out files by file attributes. |
